Is the free tier a trial?
No. Every code calculator is free permanently, with no account and no time limit. The paid tiers add the report, project and analysis workflow around the calculations — they do not unlock the calculations themselves.
Do I need an account to use the calculators?
No. The free tier requires no sign-up at all. An account (email magic link) is only needed to carry a paid subscription across devices.
What happens to my saved work if I cancel?
.pcp project files are yours — they live on your machine, not on a server, and stay readable. Reopening and editing them needs an active Pro subscription; the calculators themselves stay free.
Can I use this offline?
The calculations run in your browser, so they work while a tab is open without a connection. Paid entitlement caches locally with a seven-day offline grace period so field use does not break on a bad signal.
Is my calculation data sent anywhere?
No. Calculation inputs and results never leave your device — there is no server-side calculation. See the privacy policy for what little is collected.
How does the Pro Plus free trial work?
The Pro Plus monthly plan starts with 30 days free. A card is required at checkout but nothing is charged until day 30; cancel any time before then from the Stripe customer portal and you pay nothing. If your card is removed before the trial ends, the subscription cancels rather than charging. The trial applies to the monthly plan only — the annual plan's discount (two months free) is the annual offer.
How do I cancel?
Through the Stripe customer portal, linked from your receipt email. Self-serve — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, which you keep in full. During a free trial, cancelling is immediate and free of charge.
